The project was founded to support local producers, farmers and entrepreneurs who were affected. 60% of revenues go directly to producers from the affected communities.

Both help — but they help differently. A donation is a one-time transfer that ends with a receipt. A gift box is a purchase: it buys honey, olive oil, wine, chocolate and art from a business that employs people in an affected community, and 60% of the box price reaches those producers directly. That turns your money into an order — the thing a small workshop needs most in order to keep staff, keep machines running and plan a next season. Where Are October 7 Survivors in 2026 — South and North?
Survivors are rebuilding on two fronts, and both are still mid-recovery in 2026. In the south, Kibbutz Be'eri lost 101 residents and roughly 150 buildings on 7 October 2023; around 700 members lived in temporary housing at Kibbutz Hatzerim, 43 km away, with the return home targeted for 2026. Nir Oz, Kfar Aza, Sderot and the Nova festival area are on similar timelines. In the north, residents of the Galilee and Golan were evacuated for well over a year under rocket fire from Lebanon, and northern growers lost full harvest seasons — an income gap that no evacuation stipend covered. Meet the Producers Behind These Boxes
These are the specific businesses your order reaches. Every producer here supplies at least one of the boxes above, and each was directly affected by the events of 7 October 2023 or the northern front that followed.
Be'eri Printing (Kibbutz Be'eri, Gaza envelope). Founded in 1950, the press is the kibbutz's economic backbone — nearly half of the residents murdered on 7 October had worked there at some point. It was back at work within days, and its banner read: “Despite everything, we must keep printing.” It prints the “Cooking Together” recipe book inside the Eyal and All the Best From the South boxes.
Rimonim Winery (Gaza envelope). A small Otef distillery producing pomegranate liqueur and limoncello from natural fruit centres, with no artificial concentrate. Its bottles appear in the Shaked box and across our southern range — a producer whose entire market vanished overnight in October 2023 and was rebuilt order by order.
Peki'in Chocolate (Upper Galilee). Handmade chocolate from Peki'in, an Arab-Druze village near the Lebanese border that sat under evacuation-zone conditions for months. Peki'in has been known for its olive oil for centuries and now for its chocolate too; including it is how “all the good that's in Israel” stops being a slogan.
The Art That Remembers: Bezalel's “Zikaron Otef” Prints
Neta is the only Israeli gift house we know of that puts original commemorative art inside a food box. “Zikaron Otef” (“Envelope Memory”) is an illustration project of the Visual Communication department at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem: lecturers, fourth-year students and graduates volunteered to draw the Gaza-envelope landscapes as they looked before 7 October 2023. The prints go into the boxes as cards, so the gift carries a memory as well as a taste. Sending From Abroad: Customs, VAT and Timing
The cleanest way to send a gift to Israel is to buy it inside Israel. When a parcel is shipped into Israel from overseas it is treated as a personal import: since 2 June 2026 the exemption threshold sits at USD 75 of goods value, and anything above it is charged 18% VAT plus a customs-broker handling fee — paid by your recipient, not by you, before the box is released. Ordering from us removes that entirely, because the box is packed near Modi'in and delivered domestically in about 7 business days. Timing matters this season: Rosh Hashanah 5787 begins on Friday evening, 11 September 2026, and the holiday runs into Shabbat, so the last delivery day is Wednesday 9 September. Where Your Money Goes: the 60% Model
We publish the split instead of saying “proceeds support communities.” 60% of every box goes directly to producers from the affected communities in the south and north; the remainder covers the product itself, packaging, the art card and delivery. Our packing is carried out in supported-employment centres in the south, so assembling each box is itself therapeutic work for people in those communities. Are these gift boxes kosher?
All our boxes are kosher under local rabbinate supervision, and most carry Badatz certification. We can also build a fully Badatz box or match a specific kashrut requirement on request.
Can you ship these gifts to Israel — or abroad?
Yes. We deliver throughout Israel in about 7 business days, and we ship worldwide. International cost depends on size, weight and destination, usually within 15 days (express within 7 days for an extra fee). A recipient inside Israel pays no customs, because the box never crosses a border.
