The story behind the gifts
Neta Lin Cohen — an architect and Bezalel Academy graduate, co-founder of the "Meshek Lin" company and founder of Neta Gifts.
"For over 30 years I've been developing, producing and marketing unique culinary gifts for organizations — out of love and passion, and always with a connection and contribution to the community.
After the terrible disaster of Black Shabbat on Simchat Torah, I decided to do everything I could to help small producers and entrepreneurs in the affected areas — creating one-of-a-kind gift boxes that pair boutique products with original artwork, bringing to the forefront all the good and the beautiful of the Gaza Envelope, and the meeting of the material and the spiritual." Today, those same gifts travel across the world, letting Jews abroad send a piece of Israel — and real support to these communities — straight to loved ones here.

“Zichron Otef”
Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem
“Zichron Otef” is an illustration initiative by the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, dedicated to commemorating the beauty of the Gaza Envelope region as it was before the terrible disaster of October 7, 2023 — with the goal of raising donations for the residents of the region who were harmed.
The initiative brings together, on a volunteer basis, lecturers and fourth-year students from Bezalel's Department of Visual Communication.
The illustrations are presented on a dedicated website built for the project by Wix, which partnered with the initiative. For every donation of ₪100, you can choose one illustration as a token of appreciation. All donations are passed on in full to the “Shoresh” fund, which provides immediate aid to residents of the Gaza Envelope.
